5 Simple Rules for Amazing Health

Following a healthy lifestyle often seems incredibly complicated

Advertisements and experts all around you seem to give conflicting advice.

However, leading a healthy life doesn’t need to be complicated.

To gain optimal health, lose weight and feel better every day, all you need to do is follow these 5 simple rules

1. Do Not Put Toxic Things Into Your Body.

Many things people put in their bodies are downright toxic.

Some, such as cigarettes, alcohol and abusive drugs, are also highly addictive, making it hard for people to give them up or avoid them.

If you have a problem with one of these substances, then diet and exercise are the least of your worries.

While alcohol is fine in moderation for those who can tolerate it, tobacco and abusive drugs are bad for everyone. But an even more common problem today is eating unhealthy, disease promoting junk foods.

If you want to gain optimal health, you need to minimize your consumption of these foods. Probably the single most effective change you can make to improve your diet is to cut back on processed, packaged foods.

This can be tough because many of these foods are designed to be extremely tasty and very hard to resist (1 ). When it comes to specific ingredients, added sugars are among the worst. These include sucrose and high-fructose corn syrup. Both can wreak havoc on your metabolism when consumed in excess, though some people can tolerate moderate amounts (2 ). In addition, it’s a good idea to avoid all trans fats, which are found in some types of margarine and packaged baked foods

SUMMARY

You can’t be healthy if you keep putting disease-promoting substances into your body.

These include tobacco and alcohol, but also certain processed foods and ingredients.

2. Lift Things and Move Around

Using your muscles is extremely important for optimal health.

While lifting weights and exercising can certainly help you look better, improving your appearance is really just the tip of the iceberg. You also need to exercise to ensure your body, brain and hormones function optimally.

Lifting weights lowers your blood sugar and insulin levels, improves cholesterol and lowers triglycerides (3). It also raises your levels of testosterone and growth hormones, both associated with improved well-being (4 ). What’s more, exercise can help reduce depression and your risk of various chronic diseases, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and many more (5). Additionally, exercise may help you lose fat, especially in combination with a healthy diet. It doesn’t just burn calories, but also improves your hormone levels and overall body function. Fortunately, there are many ways to exercise. You don’t need to go to a gym or own expensive workout equipment. It’s possible to exercise for free and in the comfort of your own home. Just

Going outside to hike or take a walk is another important thing you should do, especially if you can get some sun while you’re at it (for a natural source of vitamin D). Walking is a good choice and a highly underrated form of exercise. The key is to choose something that you enjoy and can stick with in the long run. If you’re completely out of shape or have medical problems, it’s a good idea to talk to your doctor or a qualified health professional before starting a new training program.

SUMMARY

Exercise doesn’t just help you look better, it also improves your hormone levels, makes you feel better and reduces your risk of various diseases.

3. Sleep Like a Baby

Sleep is very important for overall health and studies show that sleep deprivation correlates with many diseases, including obesity and heart disease (6 , 7, 8 ). It’s highly recommended to make time for good, quality sleep.

  • If you can’t seem to sleep properly, there are several ways you can try to improve it:
  • Don’t drink coffee late in the day.
  • Try to go to bed and wake up at similar times each day.
  • Sleep in complete darkness, with no artificial lighting.
  • Dim the lights in your home a few hours before bedtime.

For more tips on how to improve your sleep, check out this article. It may also be a good idea to see your doctor. Sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, are very common and in many cases easily treatable.

SUMMARY

Getting quality sleep can improve your health in more ways than you can imagine. You’ll feel better both physically and mentally and lower your risk of various health problems down the line.

4. Avoid Excess Stress

A healthy lifestyle involves a wholesome diet, quality sleep and regular exercise.

But the way you feel and how you think is also very important. Being stressed all the time is a recipe for disaster.

Excess stress can raise cortisol levels and severely impair your metabolism. It can increase junk food cravings, fat in your stomach area and raise your risk of various diseases (9 , 10, 11 ).

Studies also show that stress is a significant contributor to depression, which is a massive health problem today (12, 13 ).

To reduce stress, try to simplify your life — exercise, take nature walks, practice deep-breathing techniques and maybe even meditation.

If you absolutely cannot handle the burdens of your daily life without becoming overly stressed, consider seeing a psychologist.

Not only will overcoming your stress make you healthier, it will also improve your life in other ways. Going through life worried, anxious and never being able to relax and enjoy yourself is a big waste.

SUMMARY

Stress can wreak havoc on your health, leading to weight gain and various diseases. There are many ways you can reduce your stress.

5. Nourish Your Body With Real Foods

The simplest and most effective way to eat healthy is to focus to real foods.

Choose unprocessed, whole foods that resemble what they looked like in nature.

It’s best to eat a combination of animals and plants — meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, as well as healthy fats, oils and high-fat dairy products.

If you’re healthy, lean and active, eating whole, unrefined carbs is absolutely fine. These include potatoes, sweet potatoes, legumes and whole grains such as oats.

However, if you’re overweight, obese or have shown signs of metabolic issues such as diabetes or metabolic syndrome, then cutting back on major carbohydrate sources can lead to dramatic improvements (14, 15 , 16).

People can often lose a lot of weight simply by cutting back on carbohydrates because they subconsciously start eating less (17 , 18 ). Whatever you do, make an effort to choose whole, unprocessed foods instead of foods that look like they were made in a factory.

SUMMARY

Choosing whole, unprocessed foods such as fruits, vegetables, seeds and whole grains is very important for your health.

You Need to Stick With It for Life

It’s important to keep in mind that a dieting mindset is a bad idea because it almost never works in the long term.

For this reason, it’s critical to aim for a lifestyle change.

Being healthy is a marathon, not a sprint.

It takes time and you need to stick with it for life

7 Things Happy People Do Every Day

Being happy is not genetic; it is a state of mind. Abraham Lincoln said, "Most people are as happy as they make up their mind to be." With that being said, it is evident that many of us have a hard time deciding to be happy and actually staying in that happy place. Some of us invite in drama, the depressing news, or our own self-defeating behaviors, and then we wonder why we just don't feel happy. There will always be outside circumstances that may sway us temporarily but wouldn't it be nice to stay in that happy place regardless of ups and downs?

You can get to that place of sustainable happiness and stay there. Consistently happy people have several things in common that they do on a regular basis including some that we have shared below. Start incorporating these into your daily life and get to that happy place!

1. Choose to be happy!
First and foremost, it is a choice if you want to be happy or if you want to be miserable. Life happens and as long as we let it rock our world and we feel like the victim, we can never achieve true happiness. Make a decision to be happy even if it is for a short time each day. Eventually you will have happier days and it will become natural.
2. Choose to take care of yourself.
This means doing some form of exercise daily whether it's going to the gym, a walk, yoga or bike riding. Our bodies need to keep moving, it helps to elevate levels of serotonin which is the "happiness hormone". It is also important to watch what you put in your mouth. Items that are sold in packaging are what we call "non-food" items. The more processed foods you eat, the more sluggish you feel.

3. Choose to surround yourself with people who make you happy.
It is amazing how many people we know that surround themselves with unhealthy, unkind people. This includes family. You have a choice in the people who you spend your time with. If you have people in your life that are unkind, absorbed in drama or just bitter and angry, stop hanging around them! It is better to have a few good people you spend your time with rather than many people who drain you. We give you full permission to decline family or any other invitations if they are not people you enjoy being with.

4. Choose to be grateful.
We all have so much to be grateful for and opening your eyes to be able to see that will bring more to be grateful for. Happy people live in a state of gratitude regardless of what is going on in their lives. In times that are rough, you can still be grateful for the sun that shines each day or the food on the table. Choose gratitude!

5. Choose to be kind.
There is enough hatred in the world to go around so start spreading kindness. Say a few nice words to the checker, stop gossiping, hold the door for someone behind you or give a smile and a wave to someone that lets you pass in front of them. Kindness is so simple and makes you feel good. Don't expect anything in return, do it because you want to. Happy people are kind and selfless people.

6. Choose to accept life as it comes to you.
The happiest people are able to accept things as they are. As soon as we start having expectations and allowing ourselves to be disappointed, it makes it hard to stay happy. Let things roll off your back like water on a duck. Accept things for what they are and know that everything is happening exactly as it is supposed to. The quicker you can let go of trying to control things, the happier you will be.

7. Choose to Enjoy Life.
Happiness comes from being able to enjoy life. Many people are so caught up in the routine of work, home, family that they don't take the time to enjoy life. Happy people enjoy life despite their daily routine. Anyone can have fun running errands, working out and just relaxing at home

Glutathione Benefits

Glutathione is an antioxidant produced in cells. It’s comprised largely of three amino acids: glutamine, glycine, and cysteine.

Glutathione levels in the body may be reduced by a number of factors, including poor nutrition, environmental toxins, and stress. Its levels also decline with age.

1. Reduces oxidative stress

Oxidative stress occurs when there’s an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the body’s ability to fight them off. Too high levels of oxidative stress may be a precursor to multiple diseases. These include diabetes, cancer, and rheumatoid arthritis. Glutathione helps stave off the impact of oxidative stress, which may, in turn, reduce disease.

An article cited in Journal of Cancer Science and Therapy indicated that glutathione deficiency leads to increased levels of oxidative stress, which might lead to cancer. It also stated that elevated glutathione levels raised antioxidant levels and resistance to oxidative stress in cancer cells.

2. May improve psoriasis

A small study  indicated that whey protein, when given orally, improved psoriasis with or without additional treatment. Whey protein had been previously demonstrated to increase glutathione levels. Study participants were given 20 grams as an oral supplement daily for three months. Researchers stated that more study is needed.

3. Reduces cell damage in alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease

Cell death in the liver may be exacerbated by a deficiency in antioxidants, including glutathione. This can lead to fatty liver disease in both those who misuse alcohol and those who don’t. Glutathione has been shown to improve protein, enzyme, and bilirubin levels in the blood of individuals with alcoholic and nonalcoholic chronic fatty liver disease.

A study  reported that glutathione was most effective when given to people with fatty liver disease intravenously, in high doses. Participants in the study also showed reductions in malondialdehyde, a marker of cell damage in the liver.

4. Improves insulin resistance in older individuals

As people age, they produce less glutathione. Researchers at Baylor School of Medicine used a combination of animal and human studies to explore the role of glutathione in weight management and insulin resistance in older individuals. Study findings indicated that low glutathione levels were associated with less fat burning and higher rates of fat storing in the body.

Older subjects had cysteine and glycine added to their diets to increase glutathione levels, which spiked within two weeks, improving insulin resistance and fat burning.

5. Increases mobility for people with peripheral artery disease

Peripheral artery disease occurs when the peripheral arteries become clogged by plaque. It most commonly happens in the legs. One study reported that glutathione improved circulation, increasing the ability of study participants to walk pain-free for longer distances. Participants receiving glutathione rather than a saline solution placebo were given intravenous infusions two times daily for five days, and then analyzed for mobility

6. Reduces symptoms of Parkinson’s disease

Parkinson’s disease affects the central nervous system and is defined by symptoms such as tremors. It currently has no cure. One older study documented intravenous glutathione’s positive effects on symptoms such as tremors and rigidity. While more research is needed, this case report suggests that glutathione may help reduce symptoms, improving quality of life in people with this disease.

7. May help fight against autoimmune disease

The chronic inflammation caused by autoimmune diseases can increase oxidative stress. These diseases include rheumatoid arthritis, celiac disease, and lupus. According to one study , glutathione helps reduce oxidative stress by either stimulating or reducing the body’s immunological response. Autoimmune diseases attack the mitochondria in specific cells. Glutathione works to protect cell mitochondria by eliminating free radicals

8. May reduce oxidative damage in children with autism

Several studies , including a clinical trial reported in Medical Science Monitor , indicate that children with autism have higher levels of oxidative damage and lower levels of glutathione in their brain. This increased susceptibility to neurological damage in children with autism from substances such as mercury.

The eight-week clinical trial on children aged 3 to 13 used oral or transdermal applications of glutathione. Autistic symptom changes were not evaluated as part of the study, but children in both groups showed improvement in cysteine, plasma sulfate, and whole-blood glutathione levels

9. May reduce the impact of uncontrolled diabetes

Long-term high blood sugar is associated with reduced amounts of glutathione. This can lead to oxidative stress and tissue damage. A study found that dietary supplementation with cysteine and glycine boosted glutathione levels. It also lowered oxidative stress and damage in people with uncontrolled diabetes, despite high sugar levels. Study participants were placed on 0.81 millimoles per kilogram (mmol/kg) of cysteine and 1.33 mmol/kg glycine daily for two weeks.

10. May reduce respiratory disease symptoms

N-acetylcysteine is a medication used to treat conditions such as asthma and cystic fibrosis. As an inhalant, it helps to thin mucus and make it less

Glutathione is found in some foods, although cooking and pasteurization diminish its levels significantly. Its highest concentrations are in: raw or very rare meat unpasteurized milk and other unpasteurized dairy products freshly-picked fruits and vegetables, such as avocado, and asparagus.

Effects of MaxGxl - Glutathione Accelerator

Did you know glutathione is the most powerful, prevalent antioxidant in your body? Increasing your glutathione level will naturally increase your energy, detoxify your body and strengthen your immune system.

MaxGXL’s™ Patented Formula Dramatically Increases Intracellular GSH.MaxGXL™ provides the proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione. MaxGXL™ also aids in liver support, thus helping the liver to function as the main production site and storehouse for glutathione.
The graph below shows the increase in glutathione levels experienced by 4 groups of people. Group 1 was tested after 6 months of use, while Groups 2, 3 and 4 were tested after only 3 months of the MaxGXL regimen.

The data indicate MaxGXL‘s™ effectiveness in those who are stressed, aging, lacking sleep, or with any prolonged illness. In these situations, MaxGXL™ stimulates the body's production of glutathione to compensate for the body's accelerated use of it, strengthening your natural defenses, decreasing your risk of illness, and guarding against the effects of the body's aging process.

Increasing Age and Other Factors Reduce the Body’s Production and Utilization of GSH. Research has shown that individuals who have low levels of glutathione are susceptible to chronic illness. Research shows that GSH levels decline by 8% to 12% per decade, beginning at the age of 20. Levels of glutathione are further reduced by continual stress upon the immune system such as illness, infection, and environmental toxins. As we now know, a lowered immune system can bring about illness and disease. This is a ferocious cycle. While you need glutathione for a productive immune system, a weakened immune system hampers the production of glutathione.

Supplements Containing Glutathione Alone Will NOT Increase The Body’s GSH Levels. It is pointless to purchase supplements that merely contain glutathione, because the digestive system breaks down ingested glutathione and it will not be absorbed into your system. On the other hand, MaxGXL™ provides the proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione. MaxGXL™ also aids in liver support by destroying environmental poisons helping the liver to function as the main production site and storehouse for glutathione.

The TRUTH about Glutathione Supplements Available in the Market!

Glutathione

Every day our bodies are challenged by stress, poor diet, lack of sleep and physical exertion. These issues can negatively affect our health and wellness. To help combat these effects, our bodies produce a molecule called Glutathione (GSH).

Glutathione is Fundamental to Our Physical Well-being

Glutathione is the primary protector of our cells. It recycles and helps restore other antioxidants, earning it the title of Master Antioxidant. It is the first line of defense against our cells’ most violent attackers, namely free radicals, chemical toxins, radiation and heavy metals that enter our bodies through the environment and the foods and liquids we consume. As the subject of over 100,000 peer-reviewed studies cited in PubMed.com, the importance of glutathione cannot be understated.

Our Glutathione Levels are Decreasing. Unfortunately, our Glutathione levels are depleted as we age. The older we get, the harder it is to maintain optimum Glutathione levels. This means our cells don’t work as well and our overall health and wellness pay the price.

Our bodies don’t have to fight on their own. Certain vitamins and nutrients have been shown to assist in Glutathione function and production. The key is finding ways to effectively support our bodies’ Glutathione levels.

Unfortunately, we can’t just take Glutathione; we need to find ways to help our bodies produce it naturally. Max’s proprietary RiboCeine™, technology is the solution for effective supplementation for optimal Glutathione production.

RiboCeine™

Scientists and medical doctors have known for decades that Glutathione, which is produced by the body itself, is the primary protector and detoxifier of the cell. However, under oxidative stress conditions, the Glutathione levels become depleted. Also, from near the age of forty, the body’s ability to produce Glutathione decreases gradually, then more rapidly over time. For years, medical scientists have looked for ways to effectively raise the levels of Glutathione. At one time, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) was the only supplement available to enhance the body’s supply of cysteine to enable the production of Glutathione. However, Dr. Herbert T. Nagasawa was able to develop a revolutionary molecule known as RiboCeine that effectively delivers cysteine to the cell to support the natural production of Glutathione--for which Max International was awarded a U.S. Patent.

RiboCeine is a unique molecule that combines ribose and cysteine, nutrients that occur naturally in our bodies. RiboCeine once ingested will be absorbed, enters the bloodstream and delivers cysteine and ribose to the cells, supporting glutathione production as well as providing ribose, an integral part of ATP, our cells’ natural fuel and source of energy. RiboCeine significantly outperformed other means of glutathione enhancement against which it has been tested. It has been the subject of twenty- two scientific studies funded by the National Institutes of Health or other scientific funding agencies and published in peer-reviewed journals.

Our Science

Max is committed to producing and delivering the best possible glutathione enhancing products in the world. We know how important it is that high quality health and wellness products be based on proven scientific research. Max International is determined to lead the wellness and nutritional industry in delivering quality products based on science and science-based proprietary formulations that support the body in its production of Glutathione, one of the body's super anti-oxidants. Glutathione and its benefits have been the subject of over 100,000 peer reviewed articles on PubMed.com, double that of even Vitamin C.

"We persevered and our experiments finally led to RiboCeine. This was a Eureka moment for me."
